Can I have a FREE site to play around with?
Sure! In fact, we encourage you to try out our system before you buy anything. Just start the order process and we'll send you a FREE, with no strings attached, 3-page website for you to explore. If you decide not to upgrade your account, that's totally fine -- keep the free one! If you'd like to later upgrade your subscription to one of our paid plans, just contact us at sales@ministrywebsites.biz.

Can I use my own domain?
Absolutely. When you first setup a website with us, we'll assign you a placeholder domain, something like mysite.ministrywebsites.biz, so that you can access and administrate your site. But, when you're ready, you can assign any domains that you own to your websites from the administrative side of the site. For more information on how to do this, see the "Domain Names" section of the help site in the top toolbar of your site.

How does the money flow?
We will bill you every month for your website per the pricing plan you select. There are no long-term contracts, no early termination fees, nor special agreements to commit to. Simply pay month-by-month for your site for as long as you want your site to remain active.

How do I know one day MinistryWebsites.biz won't just close up shop one day?
We are backed and supported by Element Fusion, a larger growing, debt-free business with a solid reputation that they've built since 1999. They are heavily invested in their products, which host websites for clients around the world. The partnership between Element Fusion and MinistryWebsites.biz will be here for a long time to offer you low-cost websites for your ministry along with outstanding support. Don't worry -- neither of us are going anywhere.

Do I need to supply my own web design?
Nope! We have a selection of pre-made, ready-to-go, ministry website designs you can choose from. Just let us know which one you like when you sign-up and we'll have it running on your site when we set up your account.

Can I use my own web design if I have one?
Absolutely! We can take the design from your old website and convert it for our system here. Or, if you purchased a template online or have a Photoshop file that's ready to cut-up for HTML (with layers), we can convert that for you, too. It costs a one-time fee of $495 and will be ready typically within 3-5 business days. This is perfect if you want to design your own site or know a designer who will do it for you. Can I edit one of your designs?
Sure! You have complete access to the template files via FTP. However, if modifying HTML, CSS and uploading your own graphics sounds intimidating, we'll be happy to customize your site to fit your ministry. Choose your design, send us your ministry's logo and picture for the homepage and it will be ready within just a few days. This service costs a one-time fee of $99. I need a custom design. Can you do that?
We currently do not offer custom design consultation. However, this is an option we're pursuing for the future. In the meantime, we recommend you order a custom design elsewhere and then send us the Photoshop file or zip package. We'll convert it for use on our system within 3-5 business days. How secure will my website be?
Very, very secure. The entire system resides in a tier four data center facility located at the Infomart Telecom hotel in Dallas. This is the largest internet hub in the southern United States and it features multiple redundancies on all critical systems. It just doesn't get any better than this when it comes to hosting environments. Get more details on our hosting page.

Does it work on a Mac?
Yes! and on PCs. MinistryWebsites.biz is an online application so there's nothing to install. All you need is an internet connection and a modern web browser. Both Safari and Firefox are supported on Mac. On PC, we officially support IE 6 or later and Firefox. Linux users can also use Firefox.

Is there a contract commitment or can I cancel at any time?
With MinistryWebsites.biz there are no setup fees and no contracts. You pay by the month and you can change subscriptions for any of your websites at any time. Contact us at sales@ministrywebsites.biz and we'll be happy to help you get started with a FREE account or change your website's subscription plan.

Can I extend my website with custom programming?
You cannot extend the software itself, but there are many ways to bring custom functionality into your site. Our company works with hundreds of custom clients and we often create special features and functions that work with the software. You can skin an external application to seamlessly integrate with your website. You can use client-side scripting to bring extra functionality right onto the website's pages. You can even just use iframes to show through outside functionality.

What about email?
We don't provide email for your domain so you can host your email wherever you wish. We often recommend Google's applications on your domain because it is a really great service and it is free. (We actually use it ourselves here at MinistryWebsites.biz!) If you want to use Google's service for your site, you can set it up yourself, or if you need our help we can do it for you for a one-time $50 fee. Can I use your website system on my own servers?
